Offered as a full scope or à la carte
-
Step one for all projects + standing offer for clients.
ON-SITE | Walk-thru to assess site, discuss ideas + talk possibilities — planning, problem-solving, or an opinion on work in progress.
REMOTE | Video call for projects outside the immediate San Francisco Bay Area, or to address quick questions that don’t require a site visit.
POST-INSTALL | Return visits once the garden has settled, to assess plant health, suggest adjustments + answer questions that have surfaced over the seasons passed.
-
Complete design for an outdoor space: vision + function + flow.
SITE ANALYSIS | A close look at existing conditions — light, soil, drainage, exposure, sight lines, and the architecture the garden sits beside.
LAYOUT + CIRCULATION | Plans drawn to scale, resolving how the space is used. Patios, paths, planting beds, gathering areas, and transitions between them.
HARDSCAPE MATERIAL PALETTE | Pavers, gravel, stone, decking, walls + edging selected for texture, tone, aesthetics, and how they’ll weather over time.
SOFTSCAPE CURATION | Planting plans at a high level — structure, rhythm, seasonal arc — placed into a detailed planting plan.
LIGHTING + FURNISHINGS | Finishing layers at build completion but considered in the overall design from inception. Sourcing + placement for a cohesive look.
-
Scaled digital drawings of the garden’s softscape as it relates to the overall design — every single plant placed + specified.
PLANT PALETTE | Site-specific selection of botanical material, drawn from climate-appropriate species. Considered for mature size, water reqs, seasonal interest, and how the palette relates as a whole.
LAYOUT | Plants positioned on a scaled plan with quantities and sizes called out — ready to hand to an installer or use as a sourcing document.
Offered with a full design or on its own, for clients who have hardscape resolved and need the planting layer or a refresh.
NOTE: palette is the curation, plan is palette + scaled layout.
-
A site-specific curated selection of botanical material. Selections drawn from California-adapted, drought-conscious, and climate-appropriate species, considered for light, soil, mature size, and how the palette relates together over seasons to come.
Offered for indoor and outdoor applications — a full garden, a single bed, a courtyard, a set of interior planters. Delivered as a specified list with notes on use, siting + care.
A standalone offering for clients who want curation without a full plan, or as the first layer of a planting plan. A curated list of softscape material for a specific site or space — without the scaled layout.
-
PROCUREMENT | Sourcing plants through wholesale nurseries + specialty growers. Quantities, sizes + quality controlled at the source, with delivery + staging coordinated.
COLLABORATION | A vetted network of contractors, masons, irrigation specialists, lighting installers, arborists, and architects. Introductions made as the project requires. Included with full-scope projects.
MANAGEMENT | On-site or remote through planning + installation. Coordinating contractors and vendors, reviewing bids, and visiting the site during build to check material, placement, and plant health — course corrections made in real time.
-
The pieces that finish a garden — furniture, planters, lighting, hardware.
SOURCING | Vessels, textiles, and objects selected for each space. Drawn from trade vendors, showrooms, makers, and brand partners — chosen for material, scale, and how they’ll live in the space. Offered with designer trade discounts passed directly onto the client with no markup.
STYLING | Furniture placed, pots arranged, lighting + textiles layered until the garden feels complete. Available with a full concept plan or on its own. Styling offered with sourcing or for clients with pieces already in hand.
