Another Eichler—always a yes. The homeowners have already given the interior an extraordinary restoration; now the exterior. Eichlers were built for indoor-outdoor living, and the goal of this multi-phase project is to make the outside live up to the inside. Phase one focused on the front and back side yards: new hardscape, screening, and raised garden beds positioned to be seen and used from the kitchen. The view out that window asked for a living wall in place of the fence and neighbor’s roofline. This is our vision of a living wall.
The full plan continues across the property: lawn conversion (front and back), updated foundation beds, new trees, decorative walls, and flooring that extends the interior material palette outdoors. (Hello, Concrete Collaborative — we love you.) Next up: CMU accent walls finished in stucco, Concrete Collaborative tile extending outside and into the atrium, pool updates, and the remaining front, back, and side yards.
Phase one installed: Summer 2025.
