Another Eichler — yet to turn one down. This one is a rare bird: an Eichler townhome, a limited subset of an already-limited world. Inside, floor-to-ceiling glass opens onto two courtyards, front and back. The brief was to bring those outdoor spaces up to the level of the interior, treating them as the extensions of living space they were always meant to be.
A full demo cleared the way for new hardscape throughout. The front entry was reworked as something inviting and chic. The rear courtyard became a true outdoor room — distinct dining and lounge areas, furnished with Knoll’s 1966 Collection via Design Within Reach and CB2 container planters. A curation that nods to the era without overplaying it.
